With more than 40 years of professional experience, Barbara and Paul Genthner , with their several assistants, enjoy training hunting retrievers on their 60 acre private grounds, complete with ponds, blinds, decoys  and various types of field cover.  As we are training full time, we no longer travel to field trials and hunt tests, but include owner instruction of proper handling of your dog at graduation.  Our obedience course offers the same service.

A TRAINED RETRIEVER IS TOPS IN CONSERVATION

LABRADOR RETRIEVER TRAINING

Left to right. Tealbrook's Vegas Hitman MH, Tealbrook's Suede MH, Tealbrook's Bos'n MH, Tealbrook's Second Gun MH.

All bred, raised and trained by Paul and Barbara Genthner of Monticello, Fla.  These dogs have completed tests in N.Y., Maine, Vermont, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia , Louisiana and Florida.  The Genthners believe that a Master Hunter should be versatile enough to hunt in any part of the country.  It is apparent that their dogs can do just that. Vegas is a Florida Open Dog and was 1983 Florida Derby champion. Suede was on the Derby list in Canada and Maine. Bos'n (call name Salty) was 1986 Florida Derby champion. Salty was the first Black Labrador in the country to earn all three AKC Hunting Titles: Junior, Senior and Master Hunter!
